SUMMER 2021 AT “YIORYITSA’S BACKYARD”

We are happy to announce our events’ programme for this summer!

We are very happy for the collaboration with  «NARTURA – Cultural  Association   for Art and Nature» , with their their fantastic and inspirational  ideas ,  and the «Filmhouse-  New Cinematography  Club of Kalamata», who have helped us with the choice of  the movies,  that we all,  will enjoy this summer.

The protection of our health is our  priority. For this reason , reservations are  necessary for all the events. We implement every time all the measures for the protection of our health

1.    Thursday 15/07 , time 21.30 , Movie Night. Movie «We’re no Angels (1955) » (minimum consumption 4,00 euros).

2.    Friday 23/07 , time 21.00 , Performance of Greek Shadow Theater  « Karagiozis  becomes boxer!». A performance from Shadow Theater of Kostas and Babis Makris. Entrance 5 euros –

3.    Saturday 24/07, time 21.00 "From rebetiko to folk …". A music journey in the songs and melodies of Markos Vamvakaris and Vasilis Tsitsanis, performed by  Panagiotis Karagiorgis and Giorgos Tsoulos.    (In collaboration  with «NARTURA»)

4.    Thursday 29/07 , time 10.00-13.00 ,  Mosaic Workshop from Mosaic Art Greece – Dimitra  Kolomvakou. Cost per person: 50 euros + vat 24%  (minimum  3  – maximum 6 persons).

5.    Thursday 29/07 , time 21.30 , Movie Night. Movie «The Odd Couple» (minimum consumption 4,00 euros).

6.    Sunday 03/08, from  10.00  -13.00  , Workshop of handmade doll” with Vasiliki Kasidaki (Vour Vour). For children , ages 2-102. Cost 40 euros (min. 3 –max 10 persons)

7.    Thursday 05/08 time 21.30 , Movie Night. Movie «Bluff» (minimum consumption 4,00 euros).

8.    Friday 06/08 time 19.30, Bubble Show Evening , with the amazing team La Petite Marguerite. (entrance 4,00 euros) (In collaboration  with «NARTURA»).

9.    Saturday 07/08 , time 21.00 : An evening  dedicated to Greek Revolution 1821 , in collaboration with «Kalliergon» and with the support of NARTURA and the Association  of Messinian Authors . At  21.00 , Presentation of the anniversary Book of Ε.Μ.S. , from the publications «Kalliergon», with title « From year ’21 to 2021», from the President of Ε.Μ.S. Tonia Pavlakou. At 21.30 , Music Performance  , dedicated to 200 years since the Greek Revolution, by Panagiotis Karagiorgis, Kostas Velmahos, Sotiris Papadeas and Dimitris Gianneas at narration. (minimum consumption 5,00 euros).

10.    Thursday 12/08, time 10.00-13.00 ,  Mosaic Workshop from Mosaic Art Greece – Dimitra  Kolomvakou. Cost per person: 50 euros + vat 24%  (minimum  3  – maximum 6 persons).
