Here is the FIRST AID KIT suggested for local use, by Dr Sofia
-Thermometer
-One roll of absorbent cotton
-Povidone-iodine antiseptic solution
-Paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin
-antibiotic cream (fucidin or bactroban)
-Bandages in various sizes
-Sterilized gauges
-Special mask or mouthpiece for protection when performing mouth to mouth
-Gloves and mask
-Four packets of sugar to use in case of hypoglycemia
-Anapen injections (adrenaline) for anaphylaxis
-Colar
- Antihistamine and cortisone cream and tablets for allergic reactions
- Glucagen injection for diabetics. This medicine must be kept in the fridge.
